South Peace Outfitters hunting area
in Northwestern Alberta, Canada in the Peace River Region.
We provide black bear hunts, moose hunts, elk hunts, whitetail deer,
mule deer hunts and waterfowl hunts including duck hunting and goose
hunting in a prime Alberta Hunting area.
We operate in the famed "Peace River
Region" of northwestern, Alberta, Canada. Our hunting area, Wildlife
Management Unit 521, is approx. 1800 square miles (approx. 1.20 million
acres) of mixed, boreal forest woodlands and agricultural lands.
Our hunting area boundary is comprised of three major river
systems; the Smoky River, Little Smoky River, and Simonette
River. The agricultural lands provide an important feed source
for our big game and waterfowl populations. The forested lands,
water bodies, and river valleys provide shelter and safe refuge
for our big game and bird game.
South Peace Outfitters Base Camp
Our big game hunts are all operated out
of our base camp. Sleeping accommodations are in a wooden framed,
aluminum sided, multi-room bunkhouse.
Each room has wooden framed beds with mattresses, forced air heating,
and comfortably sleeps 2-3 clients. The washhouse has hot/cold running
water with shower, sink, and flush toilet. Our dining and kitchen
units are canvas tents over wooden frames and floors, complete with
microwave, television, DVD, and VHS. Just about like home!. We have
electrical service in all units. Camp options on some hunts include
overnight or week long excursions to remote tent camps. Our Waterfowl
hunt camp is similar to our base camp and is located at our residence.
